“We are, we’re doing a sequel to the Madonna [episode],” Murphy said, adding that the sequel would likely air next season.
When asked if the pop queen might make a cameo in the upcoming episode, Murphy replied, “I can’t say. But she’s sort of the muse of our show, I think now. She loves the show and has supported it. She gets the show is about arts education and so she’s very supportive about that.”
“Glee” currently airs Tuesdays at 9 PM ET on Fox. The first Madonna episode featured “Express Yourself,” “Borderline/Open Your Heart,” “Vogue,” “Like a Virgin,” “What It Feels Like for a Girl,” “4 Minutes” and “Like a Prayer.”
