Although the Celtics-Lakers game in the NBA finals won the night overall, numbers for “Glee” (approximately 11 million viewers and a 4.6 rating with the 18-49 crowd) were up 18 percent from last week.
The episode, “Journey,” featured recurring characters Shelby Corcoran (Idina Menzel) and Jesse St. James (Jonathan Groff), as well as return guest appearances by Olivia Newton-John and Josh Groban. Songs performed on the finale include “Magic/You Raise Me Up,” “Faithfully,” “Any Way You Want It/Lovin’ Touchin’ Squeezin,’” “Don’t Stop Believin,’” “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “To Sir With Love,” and “Over the Rainbow.”
“Glee” repeats will begin airing June 10 at 8 PM ET. Next fall, the series will lead Fox’s Tuesday-night programming at 8 PM ET.
