News "Glee" Star Darren Criss Goes A Cappella With Yale Whiffenpoofs in Santa Monica April 14 "Glee" actor Darren Criss, who made his Broadway debut last season in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, joins the Yale Whiffenpoofs for a special April 14 concert in Santa Monica, CA.

Presented as a benefit for P.S. Arts, which helps bring arts education to underserved public schools, the 5 PM concert at Broad Stage promises Criss and the the all-male Ivy league vocal group performing choral and a cappella renditions of American jazz classics, pop hits and more.

"I'm excited to team up again with the gentlemen of the Yale Whiffenpoofs for another great evening of music. P.S. Arts has done an amazing job of bringing arts education to public schools and I am thrilled that our concert will be helping their cause," Criss said in a statement.

Criss also wrote and starred in A Very Potter Musical and A Very Potter Sequel, based on the "Harry Potter" series. His "Glee" cover of the Katy Perry hit "Teenage Dream" debuted at #1 on the Billboard charts, a first for the series. Criss has also been seen on the television series "Eastwick," "Cold Case" and "Archer."

He made a splash with his Broadway debut in the 50th anniversary revival of How to Succeed, selling out his first performance after he took over the role of J. Pierrepont Finch for original star Daniel Radcliffe ("Harry Potter"). His three-week engagement proved to be box-office gold for producers, with increased ticket sales and several sold-out shows.
