News "Glee," Usher, Lady Gaga and More Win American Music Awards The American Music Awards, broadcast live on ABC Nov. 21 from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, honored a stage veteran, a highly theatrical musician, a musical TV series that mixes show tunes with pop, and more.

"Glee: The Music, Volume 3 Showstoppers" was named Favorite Soundtrack Album. Chicago alum Usher was named Favorite R&B Male Artist, with his album, "Raymond v. Raymond," named Favorite Soul/R&B Album. Lady Gaga was awarded Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist.

Pop/jazz recording artist Michael Buble took the honors for Favorite Adult Contemporary Music Artist. Other winners included Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Carrie Underwood and Eminem.
