Watch the featurette above for insight on everything from the casting of the film's stars —Andrew Garfield, Robin de Jesús, Vanessa Hudgens, Alexandra Shipp, and Vanessa Hudgens—to director Lin-Manuel Miranda creating Larson's dream chorus for Sunday.
tick, tick...BOOM!, now streaming on Netflix, has a screenplay by Tony winner Steven Levenson (Dear Evan Hansen). Miranda produces with Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, and Julie Oh; Levenson is billed as an executive producer with Julie Larson (Jonathan’s sister, who also appears in the documentary) and Celia Costas. Garfield recently won a Golden Globe for his portrayal of Larson.
