Ensemble for the Romantic Century celebrated the official opening of Eve Wolf’s musical play Maestro at The Duke on 42nd Street January 14. The new play, which stars John Noble as legendary conductor and activist Arturo Toscanini, began performances Off-Broadway January 3.
Maestro is directed by ERC Director of Theatrical Production Donald T. Sanders. Alongside Noble as Toscanini, the production also features Mari Lee and Henry Wang on violins, Matthew Cohen on viola, Ari Evan on cello, Zhenni Li on piano, and Maximilian Morel on trumpet.
