Lee Strasberg, one of the most influential acting teachers of the 20th Century, made his feature film debut alongside two of his most famous students, Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro, in "Godfather II." In celebration of what would have been Strasberg's 100th year, The Group at Strasberg will host a Dec. 5 screening of the Francis Ford Coppola film. Filmdom's Martin Landau, Strasberg's wife Anna and his son, David Lee, will attend the event at The Egyptian. Strasberg is featured in "The Godfather II" as Hyman Roth. Landau, a 1995 Academy Award winner for "Ed Wood," is recognizable for his many character roles, including Oscar-nominated turns in" Crimes and Misdemeanors" and "Tucker." He stars opposite Jim Carey in the upcoming drama, "The Majestic."
Tickets are $8. For further information, call (323) 466-FILM.
