News Godspell and "Glee" Star Telly Leung Plays Birdland May 14 Telly Leung, who is currently co-starring in the acclaimed Broadway revival of Godspell, goes it solo at Birdland May 14.

The singing actor, who has also been seen on the Fox hit "Glee," plays the famed jazz venue at 7 PM. The evening features direction by Alan Muraoka with musical direction by Gary Adler.

Leung, according to press notes, "will share his unique show business journey through the music that has inspired and molded him, performing his personal 'playlist' in an eclectic evening of songs and anecdotes."

On Broadway Telly Leung has been seen in Godspell, Pacific Overtures, Flower Drum Song and Rent. He created the role of Boq in the Chicago production of Wicked and was also seen in the starry Hollywood Bowl staging of Rent. His other theatrical credits include M. Butterfly and Titanic. His TV credits include "Glee" and "Law & Order: CI."
