Golden Boy, Clifford Odets' classic story of Joe Bonaparte, a gifted young man who gives up the violin for the world of boxing, will be revived July 22 at the Zephyr Theatre in West Hollywood. The play, directed by Stephen F. Macias, will run through Aug. 22.Ophir Adar stars as Bonaparte, the boxer who spurns his father's artistic ambitions for him. Julianne Christie plays the woman he loves. Others in the cast include Peter Allas, Bix Barnaba, Robert Catrini, Chris Codol, Pete Hasaty, Erik Holland, Ajgie Kirkland, Ric Mancini, Patrick Aloysius Murphy, Joey Nader, Fred Ornstein and Jennifer Rade.
