Director Matt Shakman's cast for the comedy-drama about a struggling South Boston single mother reaching to the other side of the tracks (to a prosperous old flame) also features Cherise Boothe (original cast of Ruined), Sara Botsford (Broadway's The Real Thing), Marylouise Burke (Broadway's Into the Woods and Is He Dead?, Lindsay-Abaire's Fuddy Meers, Wonder of the World, Kimberly Akimbo) and Brad Fleischer (Broadway's Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo).

Shakman is the artistic director of L.A.'s Black Dahlia Theatre. The run plays to May 13.

"Kaczmarek takes on the role of Margie, while Tenney plays her old flame, Mike, who has moved on and married Kate, played by Boothe," according to Geffen notes. "Botsford, Burke and Fleischer bring the South Boston community to life as Margie’s friends Jean and Dottie and her former boss, Stevie."
