The show will soon embark on a North American tour, beginning with a one-night engagement at Eisenhower Hall in West Point, New York, on Oct. 7. The show will then head to the DuPont Theatre in Wilmington, Delaware, where it will run Oct. 10-15; East Lansing, Michigan, where it will play at the Wharton Center Oct. 17-22; a six-week engagement at the Royal Alexandra Theatre in Toronto, Canada Oct. 24-Dec. 3; the Hershey Theatre in Hershey, Pennsylvania, Dec. 5-10; the Orange Country Performing Arts Center in Costa Mesa, California, Jan. 2-7; and, finally, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at the Kimmel Center from Jan. 11-15. Featured in the cast will be Sara Antkowiak-Maier, Jason Blaine, Stephen Brotebeck, Micky Dolenz, Jason Dougherty, James Royce Edwards, Dell Howlett, Ryan Patrick Kelly, Shannon Lewis, Karl Maier, Barbara Marineau, Lauren Marshall, Candy Olsen, Joshua Park, Vincent Rodriguez III, Molly Tynes, André Ward, Teal Wicks and Dana Winkle.
Based on the story of the son of Charlemagne, Pippin has a book by Roger O. Hirson and music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz.
