News Grammy Nominee McKnight to Make Broadway Bow in Chicago Grammy-nominated R&B singer Brian McKnight will make his Broadway debut in the Tony-winning revival of Chicago this fall.

McKnight will portray slick lawyer Billy Flynn in the Kander and Ebb musical, which currently plays the Amabassador Theatre. McKnight's Broadway bow will follow a two-week stint in the show's national touring company at the Warner Theatre in Washington, D.C. McKnight will appear in the tour Sept. 25-Oct. 7 and will arrive on Broadway Oct. 8. The singer is currently scheduled to stay with the long-running revival through Nov. 18.

Brian McKnight is a Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, arranger, producer and musician. He has released ten R&B/pop albums in 15 years, seven of which have gone platinum or multi-platinum. McKnight's hit singles include "One Last Cry," "You Should Be Mine," "The Way Love Goes," "Love Is" with Vanessa Williams and "Back at One." His most recent album, "Ten," was released in 2006 on Warner Bros. Records. McKnight is also the co-host of "The Brian McKnight Morning Show" on KTWV The Wave in Los Angeles.

The Broadway company of Chicago currently features Lisa Rinna as Roxie Hart, Brenda Braxton as Velma Kelly, Harry Hamlin as Billy Flynn, Rob Bartlett as Amos Hart and Roz Ryan as Matron "Mama" Morton. The show's national tour boasts Michelle DeJean as Roxie Hart, Terra C. MacLeod as Velma Kelly, Gregory Harrison as Billy Flynn, Eric Leviton as Amos Hart and Melba Moore as Matron "Mama" Morton.

Chicago won the Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical in 1997 as well as awards for actors Bebe Neuwirth and James Naughton, director Walter Bobbie, lighting designer Ken Billington and choreographer Ann Reinking. The original production was directed and choreographed by the late Bob Fosse.

Chicago plays the Ambassador Theatre, located at 215 West 49th Street.
