News Grease Is the Word at the Riverside Beginning April 11; Eric Kunze Is Teen Angel Riverside Theatre concludes its current season with the audience-friendly musical comedy Grease, which runs April 11-May 4 in Vero Beach, FL, on the Stark Stage.

Directed by Bruce Lumpkin, the cast comprises Matthew Ragas as Danny, Laura Giknis as Sandy, Mary Martelllo as Miss Lynch, Michael Warrell as Kenickie, Richard Cerato as Doody, Matthew Rossoff as Sonny, Adolpho Blaire as Roger, Kate Fahrner as Betty, Lilly Tobin as Frenchy, Rachel Camp as Marty, Tara Tagliaferro as Jan, Nate Golden as Eugene, Tracey Dunn as Patty, Eric Kunze as Vince and Teen Angel, Brad Greer as Johnny Casino and Elizabeth Racanelli as Cha-Cha Digregorio with Hallie Cercone, Owen Pelesh, Kerri Rose and Matthew Steffens. Written by composer, lyricist and librettists Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey, Grease is described as such: "Set in 1959 at Rydell High School, Grease follows the lives of ten working-class teenagers as they follow their hearts and their dreams. While the musical score recreates the sounds of a bygone era, the story deals with issues that are still current – falling in love, fitting in, never giving up on your goals."

The production also features choreography by Michelle Gaudette, music direction by Ken Clifton, scenic design by Cliff Simon, costume design by Lisa Zinni, lighting design by Richard Winkler and sound design by Craig Beyrooti with Ingrid Olson as stage manager and Nikki Baldwin as assistant stage manager.
