Box office response in Australia to Grease-the Arena Spectacular has been so amazing that producers have announced return seasons for Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne a week before the first tour even begins.P The return seasons will also boast a new star -name in Gina G,replacing Danni Minogue who could not continue into the second tour due to prior commitments. The show will premiere April 24 in Melbourne at the Melbourne Park stadium. Rehersals are currently in the final stages in Newcastle. The all-star cast features Anthony Warlow (Teen Angel), Craig McLachlan (Danny),Jane Scali (Sandy) and Tottie Goldsmith (Miss Lynch). Gina G has become a major name on the local and European dance-music scene with her major hit "Ooh,Aah Just A Little Bit."

More than 350,000 tickets have been sold and this has exceeded all expectations. There are now plans underway for a New Zealand and Asian tour.
