News "Great Performances" Special, With Julie Andrews, Audra McDonald, David Hyde Pierce and More, Will Air in 2013 Oscar winner Julie Andrews (Victor/Victoria) and Tony Award winners Audra McDonald (The Gershwins' Porgy & Bess) and David Hyde Pierce (Curtains) were among the artists who took part in the taping of an upcoming PBS "Great Performances" special celebrating the series' 40th anniversary.

The Nov. 15 performance, which was held at Lincoln Center's David W. Koch Theater, is slated to air in 2013, a representative for WNET Communications confirmed to Playbill.com.

Andrews, who opened the concert, was joined by other performers and artists including McDonald, Hyde Pierce, Don Henley, members of the New York City Ballet (introduced by Peter Martins), Patti Austin, Take 6, Michael Bublé, Josh Groban and Elīna Garanča. Montages of past "Great Performances" programs were interspersed throughout the evening.
