"My Deah is a Southern-fried comedy in the manner of an over-baked Hollywood domestic drama," states author Epperson – or "The Artist Principally Known as Lypsinka" - in a release for the show billed as an absurd adaptation. "But it turns into a tragedy. She does kill the kids, just as you would expect."
Tony Award winner Gleason (Into The Woods), Oscar nominee Sarandon ("Dog Day Afternoon," "The Princess Bride") and Glover (Love! Valour! Compassion, "Smallville") lead the cast that also features members of MTG, including Andy Langton, Margaret Curry, Antony Raymond, Taylor Stockdale, Matt Schuneman, Ryan Knowles and Louis Reyes Cardenas.
Epperson recently appeared as Lypsinka for the short runs of Show Trash and The Passion of the Crawford. Previous diva turns for Lypsinka include I Could Go On Lip-Synching followed by The Fabulous Lypsinka Show, Lypsinka! Now It Can Be Lip-Synched, Lypsinka! A Day in the Life, Lypsinka Must Be Destroyed!, The Boxed Set. and most recently As I Lay Lip Synching.
The creation of actor John Epperson, Lypsinka has also appeared in the films "Wigstock: The Movie," "Vampire's Kiss," "Witch Hunt," "Red Ribbon Blues" and "Angels in America."
