Wilson steps into the role of Matron "Mama" Morton for a four-week engagement. The acclaimed actress will end her limited run July 5.

For her work as Dr. Miranda Bailey on "Grey's Anatomy," Wilson has earned three Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series as well as a Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Actress in a Drama Series and three NAACP Image Awards.

Wilson has appeared on Broadway in Caroline, or Change; Avenue Q; and On the Town. She also received a Theatre World Award for her performance in Off-Broadway's The Good Times Are Killing Me.

Chicago won the Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical in 1997 as well as awards for actors Bebe Neuwirth and James Naughton, director Walter Bobbie, lighting designer Ken Billington and choreographer Ann Reinking. The original production was directed and choreographed by the late Bob Fosse.

Chicago plays the Ambassador Theatre, located at 219 West 49th Street. The long-running musical celebrated its 12th anniversary and its 5,000th performance on Broadway Nov. 14, 2008.

A host of stage and screen stars will join the cast of the Tony Award-winning revival of John Kander and Fred Ebb's Chicago this summer at Broadway's Ambassador Theatre.

The role of merry murderess Roxie Hart, currently played by Tony nominee Charlotte d'Amboise (through June 14), will also be portrayed by Bryn Dowling (June 15-28), Bonnie Langford (June 29-July 5) and Samantha Harris (July 7-Aug. 16).

Tom Hewitt is playing the role of slick lawyer Billy Flynn through July 5. On July 7 frequent Chicago star Brent Barrett, who played a lengthy stint in the Las Vegas Phantom, will return to the role. Barrett is scheduled to stay with the award-winning revival through Aug. 9.

When Raymond Bokhour concludes his stint as Amos Hart on June 14, he will be succeeded by Tom Riis Farrell, who will be making his Chicago debut (June 15-Aug. 9).

The women who will spend the summer playing Matron "Mama" Morton are Chandra Wilson (June 8-July 5) and Roz Ryan (July 7-Aug. 30).

Amra-Faye Wright will continue as Velma Kelly.
