Performances play through Sept. 17 at New World Stages/Stage 5, 340 West 50th St. Featured in the cast are Emily Skinner (Side Show, Dinner at Eight, The Full Monty, James Joyce's The Dead), Michael Berry (Les Miserables, Moby Dick), Michelle Blakely (Annie Get Your Gun, Grease, Grand Hotel), Kevin Carolan (Dirty Blonde), Jacquelyn Piro, Charles Hagerty and Nikki Snelson.

The musical has a book by Matthew Hurt with Conor Mitchell and music and lyrics by Conor Mitchell. Pip Pickering will direct. Rhonda Miller will serve as choreographer. Jesse Poleshuck will provide set design, with costume design by Mattie Ullrich, lighting design by Jeff Croiter and sound design by Joanna Lynne Staub.

In the show, the members of a group therapy session, now meeting for the 23rd time, are shaken by the arrival of a newcomer whose revelations force the others to examine their own dark secrets. This new musical comedy explores the emotional walls we erect and the consequences of one's honesty.

Originally from Northern Ireland, Conor Mitchell trained with the composers David Blake, Nicola Lefanu and Tomas Szemechu. His music for theatre and the concert hall is performed across the U.K. and Ireland. His first full-length piece for the musical theatre was Have a Nice Life in 2003. Other credits as book/lyrics and score since then have included Mathilde, Todd, Letters To An Absent Other and Merry Christmas Betty Ford. Credits as composer include Goblin Market and Pretty Face.
