News Grové and Perlow Cast in Long Wharf's The Fantasticks Jessica Grové, David Nathan Perlow and Michael Sharon will star in the Long Wharf Theatre production of the classic Tom Jones-Harvey Schmidt musical The Fantasticks, which is set to run Oct. 7-Nov. 1 on the Long Wharf main stage.

Amanda Dehnert directs the musical about two young lovers, their fathers, a mysterious stranger and a wall. Grové (Sunday in the Park with George, Thoroughly Modern Millie) will star as Luisa, with Perlow (White Noise) as Matt and Sharon (Josephine's Song, The Most Happy Fella) as El Gallo.

Stage veteran William Parry (Road Show, Sunday in the Park with George) will portray Henry, with Dan Sharkey (The Sound of Music) as Huckabee, Ray DeMattis (City of Angels) as Bellomy and Jonathan Randell Silver (Peter Pan and Wendy) as The Mute.

Featuring a score by Harvey Schmidt and book and lyrics by Tom Jones, The Fantasticks includes classics such as "Try to Remember," "They Were You," "Much More," "Soon It's Gonna Rain" and "I Can See It."
