Gugino will co-star opposite the previously announced Liev Schreiber and Helen Hunt. Richard Levine penned the script for the drama, which will commence filming this month in New York. Screenwriter Levine will also direct. Producers include Ambush Entertainment's Miranda Bailey and Matthew Leutwyler.

Schreiber and Hunt, according to the industry paper, play a "married couple in turmoil as he plods along as the unsatisfied writer of a semi-pornographic TV show. Gugino play a sexy colleague who propositions him, creating a crisis that strains his marriage to the breaking point."

Carla Gugino was recently seen opposite Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino in the crime drama film "Righteous Kill." She appears as Amanda in the HBO hit series "Entourage," and will appear in the family comedy film "Race to Witch Mountain" for Walt Disney Pictures (release March 2009) and "Watchmen," based on the lauded graphic novel. Gugino made her Broadway debut in Roundabout Theater Company's 2004 revival of Arthur Miller's After the Fall (Outer Critics Circle Award nomination). She also appeared opposite Blythe Danner in Roundabout's Suddenly Last Summer by Tennessee Williams.
