News Guild Hall's Night of Stars in Long Island Is Canceled Due to Hurricane Guild Hall's Aug. 27 Night of Stars: Guild Hall's 80th Birthday Celebration, recognizing 80 years of providing year-round programming in East Hampton, NY, has been scrapped due to Hurricane Irene.

The 8 PM performance was scheduled to feature the talents of Elaine Stritch, Blythe Danner, Eli Wallach, Harris Yulin, Jake LaMotta, Melissa Errico, Anna Bergman and Tovah Feldshuh.

The evening was to also include works by Terrence McNally and new works by Jules Feiffer, Marsha Norman and Joe Pintauro. Countess Luann de Lesseps, Gregory Korostishevsky and Kevin Conway were to host.

Night of Stars is produced in association with Patricia Watt. Ticketholders are being offered exchange options.
