He replaces Robert Foxworth at the Music Box Theatre. Boyd's credits include Broadway's Sex & Longing and Rose, Off-Broadway's Stone Cold Dead Serious, American Sligo, Essential Self Defense, Quincy Long's People Be Heard, The Lively Lad, The Late Henry Moss, Betty's Summer Vacation and more. His film credits include "The Savages," "Sister Act," "Jagged Edge," "Body Double," "Lucas," "Streamers" (Golden Lion Award – Venice Film Festival – Best Actor).

Directed by Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Award winner Anna D. Shapiro, August: Osage County "is the explosively funny comedy-drama focusing on the Weston family following the disappearance of the family's patriarch."

August: Osage County currently stars Estelle Parsons as Violet Weston with John Cullum, Johanna Day, Scott Jaeck, Brian Kerwin, Madeleine Martin, Michael Milligan, Dee Pelletier, Molly Regan, Samantha Ross, Amy Warren and Frank Wood.
