These Guys and Dolls speak Viennese.

They have acquired a Viennese title (Strizzis und Mizzis ) and have moved to Austria's capital: Frank Loesser's Guys and Dolls is playing again at Vienna's Metropol-Theater.

During the summer months, Strizzis und Mizzis was playing to sold-out houses, mostly due to the book's hilarious translation into the Viennese dialect by Dunja Sowinetz and Caroline Koczan.

The second and definitely last series of performances has become somewhat of a family affair: Karlheinz Hackl as "Sigi Master" (Sky Masterson) is chasing a new "Marie Braun" (Sarah Brown), Maria Koestlinger. In real life, these two very popular actors have just married three weeks ago!

Morover, "Fraeulein Adelheid" (Miss Adelaide), Gabriele Schuchter, is trying to drag her real-life brother, Georg Schuchter as "Pepi Novak" (Nathan Detroit), to the altar. Karl Welunschek is directing, Kim Poeschl-Duddy teaches the hoodlums how to dance and Walter Lochman is the musical director of a show that can be enjoyed on CD, too.

Performance dates: Oct. 9-11, 14, 16-18, 21-25, 28, 31, Nov. 1, 4-11.

Tickets and the CD can be ordered at Tel: +43-1-407 77 407.
