A statement posted on the Joe's Pub website reads, "Bryce Ryness has been tearing it up on stage in Broadway's hit musical Hair in the role of Woof for the past two months — sadly, while giving those amazingly memorable performances he's managed to really strain his vocal chords." A Hair spokesperson told Playbill.com that although the actor has canceled his Joe's Pub appearance, he will not miss any performances of the musical revival at the Hirschfeld.

In addition to Hair, Bryce Ryness has also appeared on Broadway in Legally Blonde as well as in the tour of Rent.

Joe's Pub is located within the Public Theater at 425 Lafayette Street. For more information visit www.joespub.com.
