News Hair Tour Cast to Offer Broadway Impact Benefit in L.A. Cast members from the national tour of the Tony Award-winning revival of Hair will stage a "Be-In" benefit concert Jan. 10 in Los Angeles.

Bryce Ryness and Lauren Elder, who appeared in the Broadway revival cast of Hair, will make guest appearances during the 7:30 PM and 10:30 PM concerts at The Show at Barre.

Proceeds from the "Be-In" will benefit Broadway Impact, which supports marriage equality for the LGBT community. Broadway Impact was founded by two-time Tony Award nominee and Hair revival cast member Gavin Creel.

The revival of Hair began life in 2007 as a special 40th anniversary concert staging at the Delacorte Theater. In 2008 the Public mounted Hair as part of Shakespeare in the Park, where the run was extended three times. The production transferred to Broadway's Al Hirschfeld Theatre March 31, 2009, and concluded in June 2010. A London production opened April 14 at the Gielgud Theatre and concluded in September 2010.
