The longtime friends — from their days in Lexington, Kentucky, back in the 1980s — chart their careers, from school plays to beauty pageants to concerts. The music in the show is described as "pop, pop/country, or country/pop" in the vein of Leann Rimes or Shania Twain with a "dab of Carole King and Linda Ronstandt.

Bundy originated the role of Tina Denmark — at the age of six — in Ruthless! She has also played Dainty June in Gypsy opposite Betty Buckley and Deborah Gibson and in The Sound of Music with Marie Osmond. Screen credits include "Jumanji," "Strangers With Candy" and "Guiding Light."

Rhodes delved into songwriting as Bundy made her way into acting. She penned most of the songs in Laura and Amber and works for Stray Dog Music as a songwriter for artists in New York, Nashville, the UK and Germany.
