The network has announced the dozen contestants that will take part in the sixth season of the dance competition show. The new season will make its debut March 17 at 8 PM (ET); check local listings. Pairing stars with professional dancers, the call-in-and-vote competition eliminates teams on a weekly basis. Joining Winokur will be Adam Corolla, Christián de la Fuente, Shannon Elizabeth, Steve Guttenberg, Mario, Marlee Matlin, Penn Jillette, Priscilla Presley, Monica Seles, Jason Taylor and Kristi Yamaguchi.

Winokur earned her Tony for her turn as Tracy Turnblad in the musical Hairspray. The actress — who made her Broadway debut in Grease! — co-starred on Fox TV's "Stacked." Other credits include the films "American Beauty," "Scary Movie" and "Fever Pitch."

Tom Bergeron and Samantha Harris co-host "Dancing with the Stars," which is judged by Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba.

Winokur will appear on ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Feb. 21 to promote the show.
