Tristar Music will release "A Gala Concert For Hal Prince," a CD collection of songs taken from shows originally directed and/or produced by Hal Prince. The concert, recorded live in Munich, Germany, features the Munich Radio Orchestra conducted by Prince's son, Charles Prince. Release date is Sept. 10.

The concert is directed and devised by Hugh Wooldridge and brings together such performers as Teri Bibb, Len Cariou, Kelli James Chase, Robert DuSold, Debbie Shapiro Gravitte, David Michael Johnson, Ria Jones, Patricia Nessy, Kenneth Nichols and Dave Willets. The concert includes songs from The Phantom of the Opera, West Side Story, Cabaret, Sweeney Todd, Show Boat, Company, and more.

Hal Prince is the most honored director in Broadway history with 20 Tony awards. He currently has 13 productions of The Phantom of the Opera throughout the world, as well as productions of Show Boat in New York, Vancouver, and Chicago.
