Opening is April 14. Kate Pines directs Corinne Edgerly, Jennifer McCabe and Liz Myers in the production, as each plays a woman in a different generation. The play, according to press notes, is about "three generations of women living in a rundown farmhouse in the rural South. They struggle to pay the bills, live right, and hold their family together in a world that is fast becoming incomprehensible and dangerous, particularly for Camille, the youngest. In an effort to get clear of the mistakes her mother and grandmother have made, Camille sets off for the Canadian border, thousands of miles north, with a knife, a black eye, and secret."

The design team includes Jesse Poleshuck (set), Sarah Laux (costumes), Sarah Jacubasz (lighting) and Bridget M. O'Connor (sound).

Halfnight was an artist in residence at the National Theatre of Hungary, and his play God's Waiting Room was named Best Play at the 2005 New York Fringe Festival.

Walkerspace is located at 46 Walker Street between Broadway and Church Streets in Manhattan. For tickets call (212) 352-3101 or (866) 811-4111. For more information visit www.EmergencyTheaterProject.org.
