Former Trinity Repertory and Dallas Theatre Center artistic director Adrian Hall returns to Texas to direct Naomi Wallace's One Flea Spare with Dallas' Kitchen Dog Theater, March 24-April 23. The production inaugurates the Theater's new space at the McKinney Avenue Contemporary.

One Flea Spare, set during London's Great Plague of 1665, pits four strangers against each other in the room in which they are trapped. Comissioned for London's Bush Theatre, Flea made its American debut at the Humana Festival of New American Plays and garnered an Obie Award in its New York City run. Wallace's other plays include Slaughter City, The War Boys and In the Heart of America, a Gulf War Drama.

Hall, a native Texan, counts among his awards and accolades the first Elliot Norton Award, the Margo Jones Award, a special Tony Award, four lifetime achievement awards and as many honorary degrees.

The ensemble cast includes KDT artistic director Dan Day, Sean Hennigan, Elizabeth Rothan, Erin Neal and KDT artistic associate Lynn Mathis.

Designing the production are Andy Fitch (sets and lighting) and Leila Heise (costumes) with Neil Fleming as technical director. Tickets are $18-$8. The McKinney Avenue Contemporary is located at 3120 McKinney Avenue. For reservations, call the box office at (214) 953 1055.
