The annual Broadway Show League has been playing softball for only a few weeks as it heads for its August championship, but Lin-Manuel Miranda decided to dedicate his weekly #Ham4Ham concert to the Hamilton team, which is so far undefeated.

Miranda invited his team, consisting of crew members and actors from the show, to come out on the steps of the Richard Rodgers Theatre and sing a classic Broadway show tune about baseball, ”(You've Gotta Have) Heart” from Damn Yankees, in celebration.

Coincidentally, the original production of Damn Yankees played the Rodgers (then known as the 46th Street Theatre) so this performance takes place outside the building where the song had its Broadway premiere in 1955.

Teams from many Broadway shows and other organizations field softball teams each summer to compete in a series of Thursday afternoon games on the Heckscher Fields of Central Park.
