Hamilton may bring rap, hip-hop, and R&B tones to the stage, but behind-the-scenes, the various companies of the Lin-Manuel Miranda musical occasionally jam to some polka.
Following the March #HamilDrop release of Weird Al Yankovic’s “The Hamilton Polka,” the five companies of Hamilton—Broadway, Chicago, both national tours, and West End—released a joint video, bringing their own antics to the already zany track. Take a look below.
When you see @AlYankovic and @Lin_Manuel, thank them for the remix. Every cast of Hamilton jams out to March’s #Hamildrop, The Hamilton Polka. pic.twitter.com/aXksDgLTRw

Yankovic’s track was released last month as part of Miranda’s #HamilDrop series, which offers fans new content (such as remixes, rearrangements, and previously cut lyrics) each month through 2018. The parody artist is a longtime fan of Miranda—and the sentiment is mutual; the two paid a visit to The Tonight Show following the release.
