News Hamilton Musicians Freed From the Pit in Latest Ham4Ham (Video) Ham4Ham — the impromptu performances that occur periodically on the front steps of the Richard Rodgers Theatre, where Hamilton is playing — featured members of the show's orchestra Dec. 12 playing to entertain the people standing on line for Hamilton's discount ticket lottery.

Introduced by Hamilton creator-star Lin-Manuel Miranda, conductor and orchestrator Alex Lacamoire led some of his fellow musicians "liberated from the pit" in an original medley of “play off music” that’s not heard on the cast recording or even heard in the show.
