A new theatre company in Illinois, S.W.A.G. (Suburban West Actors Guild), will host a Hamilton sing-along August 27 from 7-9 PM at Outta Space in Berwyn, IL.

The event is free, but the company is suggesting a $15 donation. Cosplay is encouraged, but not required.

If fans are interested in singing along to a specific part, they can email [email protected] with the subject “Roles in Hamilton” to reserve a spot. There will be no auditions; fans will sing along to the CD, and lyric sheets will be provided. According to the Facebook page, the opening number will be performed by two six year olds.

Because of profanity used in the musical, the sing-along is open to all ages, but children under 15 should be accompanied by an adult.

S.W.A.G. Theater Company is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to “engage, educate and entertain our community.”

The company is holding auditions for their production of Fiddler on the Roof August 24-25. Show dates for the production are November 4-6, 11-13 and 18-20 at the First United Church of Christ (1000 Elgin Ave., Forest Park, IL).

Outta Space is located at 6840 32nd Street in Berwyn, IL. Visit the Facebook event here for more information.
