Hamilton Tony Award winner Renée Elise Goldsberry will perform with the Kansas City Symphony September 28 at 8 PM. The concert serves as a benefit for KCYA’s community arts education programs.

Goldsberry will perform songs from Broadway, American Songbook classics, and pop hits, including “You’ll Never Walk Alone” from Carousel and Curtis Mayfield’s “People Get Ready.” The evening will also include a tribute to Martin Luther King, Jr.

In addition to her Tony-winning performance as Angelica Schuyler, Goldsberry has also appeared in Rent, Good People, The Color Purple, and The Lion King.
