Mandy Gonzalez, who currently stars as Angelica Schuyler in Broadway’s Hamilton, is taking one of her Mondays off from the hit to perform a solo concert titled Raise the Roof July 31 at Guild Hall in East Hampton, New York.
She is promising classic Broadway songs by composer friends along with standards and classic pop songs at the 8 PM concert.
Gonzalez is known for her portrayal of Nina Rosario in In the Heights, for which she received a Drama Desk Award after originating the role Off-Broadway at 37 Arts. She has also been seen on Broadway in Aida, Dance of the Vampires, Lennon, and Wicked. On TV, she is known for her recent recurring role on ABC’s Quantico and on CBS’ Madam Secretary.
