News Hamilton’s Renée Elise Goldsberry Will Guest on Disney’s Lion Guard The Hamilton Tony Award winner will guest voice a role on the Disney animated series inspired by The Lion King.

Tony Award-winning actress Renée Elise Goldsberry, who will depart the Broadway hit Hamilton September 3, will guest voice a role on the second season of Disney’s The Lion Guard—a continuation of the hit animated film musical The Lion King.

Goldsberry will voice Dhahabu the Golden Zebra, “the charismatic leader of a group of zebras,” according to Disney. The actress made her Broadway debut as Nala in The Lion King.

Goldsberry is also set to star in the title role in the film The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks for HBO followed by a regular role in the new Netflix series Altered Carbon.
