The Book of Mormon Tony nominee Rory O'Malley, also seen as King George in both the Broadway and national touring companies of Hamilton, has been cast in the upcoming NBC pilot Like Magic, according to Variety. O'Malley will star alongside Jee Young Han (Santa Clarita Diet), who will lead the show as Holly, an aspiring magician who dreams of headlining at the Magic Palace.

O'Malley will also play a magician, a character named Michael V, who is part of a two-man magic team (the other half of which is named Michael B).

Like Magic is written and executive-produced by Bridget Kyle and Vicky Luu. As reported in Variety, the comedy is billed as a "workplace comedy."

O'Malley's casting follows the recent news that he will also appear in the Lifetime scripted series, American Princess.
