Posterity will begin previews Feb. 25, 2015, prior to an official opening Off-Broadway March 15. The limited engagement will continue through April 5 at The Linda Gross Theater.

Wright will direct a cast that includes Hamish Linklater (Seminar, Much Ado About Nothing), John Noble ("The Lord of the Rings," "The Good Wife"), Dale Soules (Hair, The Crucible), Henry Stram (Inherit The Wind, Titanic) and Mickey Theis (The Fatal Eggs, The Visit).

In Posterity, "Norway's most celebrated sculptor (Linklater) is commissioned to create the last official portrait of the country's most famous writer, but Henrik Ibsen (Noble) proves to be an irascible, contentious sitter, as the two men wage war over both his legacy and his likeness. Doug Wright explores the nature of artistic success and the fear of being forgotten."

Posterity will feature scenic design by Derek McLane, costume design by Susan Hilferty, lighting design by David Lander and original music and sound design by David Van Tieghem.

The Linda Gross Theater is located at 336 West 20th Street. Visit Atlantictheater.org for more information.
