News Hamish Linklater's The Vandal Returns Off-Broadway March 22 The Vandal, the three-actor production that marked the playwriting debut of actor Hamish Linklater, returns for a week-long Off-Broadway engagement with its original cast beginning March 22 at the Flea Theater.

Cast members including Deirdre O'Connell, Zach Grenier and Noah Robbins reunite for the engagement that will run through March 31. Directed by Jim Simpson, The Vandal premiered Off-Broadway Jan. 18 and extended its initial run to March 3.

Here's how the play is characterized: "Set in Kingston, New York, The Vandal is a startling, funny and dark new play about a woman and a boy who meet at a bus stop on a cold night and the stories they tell to keep each other warm."

Drama Desk Award-winning actress O'Connell appeared Off-Broadway in Circle Mirror Transformation and In the Wake. Grenier received a Tony Award nomination for 33 Variations. His stage appearances include Man and Boy, A Man for All Seasons, Voices in the Dark and Mastergate. Robbins appeared on Broadway in Arcadia and Brighton Beach Memoirs.

The design team includes David M. Barber (set designer), Brian Aldous (lighting designer), Claudia Brown (costume designer) and Brandon Wolcott (sound designer).

Obie Award-winning actor-playwright Linklater appeared in the Broadway production of Theresa Rebeck's Seminar. His credits also include The School for Lies, Twelfth Night, The Merchant of Venice, The Winter's Tale, Hamlet and Good Thing. He is well known for his television work on "The New Adventures of Old Christine."
