News Hamlisch, Reinking, Mitchell Celebrate Life With New York Pops Oct. 23 Marvin Hamlisch, Ann Reinking, Tony Award winner Brian Stokes Mitchell, Lillias White and Lee Roy Reams are the theatre luminati performing with the New York Pops at A Celebration of Life, the 11th anniversary gala benefit for the Lauri [sic] Strauss Leukemia Foundation, Oct. 23.

Marvin Hamlisch, Ann Reinking, Tony Award winner Brian Stokes Mitchell, Lillias White and Lee Roy Reams are the theatre luminati performing with the New York Pops at A Celebration of Life, the 11th anniversary gala benefit for the Lauri [sic] Strauss Leukemia Foundation, Oct. 23. Hamlisch is known for his composing (A Chorus Line and They're Playing Our Song), Reinking for her choreography (Fosse, Chicago) and dancing and Mitchell, White and Reams have demonstrated their pipes' power in Ragtime and Kiss Me, Kate, The Life and La Cage aux Folles.

Also performing will be Regis Philbin, Judy Collins, Maureen McGovern, Aprile Millo, Joy Behar, Bucky Pizzarelli, Peter Appleyard and Margaret Whiting.
