LOS ANGELES -- The Scandinavian gods have taken over Silverlake. Hammergirl, a fantasy inspired by Norse legend and mythology, is running through Mar. 29 at the Glaxa Studios, 3707 Sunset Blvd.

Written by Stephen Legawiec, Hammergirl has been described as "a theatre of personal language, exploding myth and idiosyncratiuc heroism" -- a work that combines text, music, movement and the talents of a 13-person cast to "spin a parable of two sisters' struggle for peace in a warring world."

Performances are at 8 PM. For tickets, call (213) 660-8587.
