News Hannah Waddingham Will Join Adam Garcia in Chichester's Kiss Me, Kate Hannah Waddingham will join the previously announced Adam Garcia to star in Chichester Festival Theatre's summer production of Kiss Me, Kate, beginning performances June 18, prior to an official opening June 27, for a run through Sept. 1.

Waddingham will play Lilli/Kate, with Garcia as Bill Calhoun/Lucentio. Also newly announced are Alex Bourne (Fred Graham/Petruchio), David Burt (Gangster 1) and Clive Rowe (Gangster 2) in the production, which will be helmed by Trevor Nunn.

Waddingham was most recently seen in The Wizard of Oz at the London Palladium as the Wicked Witch of the West, and played another Witch in Sondheim's Into the Woods at the Open Air Theatre, Regent's Park. She starred as Desiree Armfeldt in Trevor Nunn's production of A Little Night Music at the Menier Chocolate Factory and in the West End. Other roles include the original Lady of the Lake in Spamalot in the West End, before subsequently joining the Broadway company, and appearing in Grease, Lautrec and Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Beautiful Game.

Bourne has appeared in the West End in We Will Rock You, Chicago, Grease, Beauty and the Beast and Only The Lonely, Show Boat (RSC and Opera North) as well as the national tour of The Rocky Horror Show.

Burt was seen most recently in the transfer of Crazy For You from the Open Air Theatre, Regent's Park to the West End's Novello Theatre. Other West End credits include The Woman in White, Les Misérables, Cats, Evita and La Traviata (Donmar Warehouse). Other credits include The Merchant of Venice, Candide and Troilus and Cressida (all for the National Theatre) and The Beggar’s Opera (RSC). 

Rowe is currently playing One Round in The Ladykillers (at the Gielgud through April 14). Other West End credits include The Fantasticks and Chicago. He has also appeared extensively at the Open Air Theatre, Regent's Park, National Theatre (where his credits include an Olivier-winning performance as Nicely-Nicely Johnson in Guys and Dolls and the British premiere of Caroline, or Change) and RSC.
