News Harnar and Hicks Will Explore Mickey and Judy's Hollywood June 9 I Got Rhythm: Mickey and Judy's Hollywood is the title of a June 9 concert at Town Hall.

The 8 PM performance will feature the talents of Jeff Harnar and Shauna Hicks, who will perform songs from films that starred Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland. Audiences can expect to hear such tunes as "Embraceable You," "I Wish I Were in Love Again," "But Not for Me" and "I Got Rhythm," among others. Jeff Harnar, the winner of three MAC Awards and three Back Stage Bistro Awards, has performed at Carnegie Hall, the Algonquin's Oak Room and the Firebird Café. His PBS special was titled "The 1959 Broadway Songbook," and his recordings include that title as well as "Because of You: Fifties Gold" and "Sammy Cahn: All the Way." Shauna Hicks has been seen on Broadway in Blood Brothers and Meet Me in St. Louis and played Rosemary in the national tour of How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying. She won MAC, CAB and Bistro Awards for her one-woman show Shauna Hicks and Her 60's Chicks, and she can be heard on the recordings "Unsung Berlin" and "Broadway Sings Bacharach."
