What do Show Boat, Kiss of the Spider Woman, The Phantom of the Opera, Evita, Sweeney Todd, A Little Night Music, Follies, Company, Cabaret and She Loves Me have in common? They were all musicals directed and/or produced by Harold Prince.

As if that weren't enough of a resume, Prince has directed plays, written plays (Grandchild of Kings) and helped produce shows (Fiddler on the Roof, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, West Side Story). His next project is the musical Parade.

Worthy of a lifetime achievement award? The Graduate School of City University of New York certainly thinks so, for they're bestowing the 16th annual Edwin Booth Award on Prince May 13, 6:30 PM (EST). Prince will speak at the free public event in the school's Proshansky Auditorium, 33 West 42nd St.

Previous winners of the Booth Award, given to those who've made "significant contributions to theatre in New York," include Richard Foreman, Arthur Miller and Al Hirschfeld.
