News Hartford TheaterWorks Accepting Votes for 2008-2009 Season The Year of Magical Thinking, Thurgood, and The Brothers Size are among the titles that could find their way into the 2008-2009 season at Hartford TheaterWorks.

Fifteen productions are on the short-list for the 2008-2009 season that will be partially determined by votes from Hartford audience members. Theatregoers are currently able to visit the TheaterWorks website and cast their vote for the five productions they would like to be included in the upcoming season. The Hartford TheaterWorks season contenders are Almost Maine by John Cariani, Becky Shaw by Gina Gionfriddo, Better Late penned by Larry Gelbart and Craig Wright, Tarell McCraney's The Brothers Size, Dead Man's Cell Phone by Sarah Ruhl, Drunken City from Adam Bock, Caryl Churchill's Drunk Enough to Say I Love You, The Four of Us by Itamar Moses, In the Continuum by Nikkole Salter and Danai Gurira, Theresa Rebeck's Mauritius, Conor McPherson's The Seafarer, Speech & Debate by Stephen Karam, Thurgood by George Stevens Jr., David Lindsay-Abaire's Wonder of the World and Joan Didion's The Year of Magical Thinking.

TheaterWorks has also extended the engagements and weekly performance schedules of its productions for next season. While the line-up has yet to be determined, subscriptions for the 2008-2009 season are currently available.
