Harvey J. Klaris, a lawyer and investment banker who was a producer of Broadway's Nine and The Tap Dance Kid, died Jan. 12 of heart failure, The New York Times reported. Mr. Klaris was 61, and had also been a producer of Off Broadway's Cloud Nine. He was also a former co-owner of Sardi's, the theatre-district restaurant, and founded and ran Precision Films in the 1980s.

Survivors include wife Jane, sons Edward, Alexander, Joshua and Adam, daughters Grace and Lorin.
