The Aida and Color Purple star replaces the previously announced Adrienne Warren.

Tony-winning Broadway favorite Heather Headley (AidaThe Color Purple) joins The New York Pops for a concert at Carnegie Hall February 10, performing highlights from her career. Headley is filling in for the previously announced Adrienne Warren, who withdrew due to a scheduling conflict. The evening is led by Pops music director and conductor Steven Reineke.

Headley is a Tony winner for her performance in the title role of Aida, and also appeared on Broadway in The Lion King and, most recently, The Color Purple. She was also seen as the Witch in the City Center staging of Into the Woods.

Coming up next in the Pops season is Marilyn Maye in The Marvelous Marilyn Maye March 24. The cabaret icon is set to perform a program including musical theatre classics.
