Playbills for Hurt Locker The Musical can be found throughout the theatre.

Utilized as a way to explain why she is performing in a Broadway theatre and why she has a set onstage, Hedwig tells the audience that Hurt Locker the Musical ran for one night before closing, and she has persuaded a Broadway producer to let her perform in the Belasco Theatre.

The Playbill lists Bobby Cannavale, Taye Diggs, Michael Cerveris, D'Bree Dazeem, Hunter Taylor-Thompson-Tyler, Abdul Batin, Pepper Phillips and Blaine Duboise as cast members of the production

Musical numbers include "Hot Desert Nights!" and "Can't Camouflage Love," and the Playbill contains a Director's Note from Kip Buckner.

The Playbill also contains advertisements for a single block of gold ("Luxury. In its Most Essential Form.") and "How Many Have You seen?," listing other Broadway shows. Hedwig, which opened April 22 at the Belasco Theatre to positive reviews, features a book by John Cameron Mitchell and music and lyrics by Stephen Trask. The landmark 1998 musical stars Harris as the titular Hedwig, a transgender singer fronting a fictional rock-n-roll band. Lena Hall, who recently starred as Nicola in Broadway's Tony-winning musical Kinky Boots and is also the lead singer of the rock band The Deafening, co-stars with Harris as Yitzhak.

Hedwig is directed by Tony Award winner Michael Mayer (Spring Awakening, American Idiot) with musical staging by Emmy Award nominee Spencer Liff (The Wedding Singer, Cry-Baby). Justin Craig is musical director.
