Krieger (Dreamgirls, Side Show, The Tap Dance Kid) penned the music to the family-friendly musical that has book, lyrics and puppets by Vitucci. The two also collaborated on the Chicken Little-inspired musical Love's Fowl. Small Fish is billed as a companion piece to the first work.

Jules Ochoa directs the 11 AM reading that is musical directed by Ben Krauss. The reading will utilize video of the Clothespin Repertory Theatre puppets. The musical has been workshopped at the New York Theatre Workshop and Philadelphia's 1812 Productions.

Here is how it's billed: "In Small Fish, its puppet star, La Pulcina Piccola, international chicken of adventure and the bravest, boldest, most daring chicken that ever lived, follows her heart to the ends of the earth and beyond in her eternal quest for love."
